My work draws on the clarity of Ancient Greek form, the disciplined geometry of Brutalist architecture and the compositional confidence of Classical Modern British art. I am equally influenced by the depth and restraint of Old Master painting and the quiet authority of well-considered interiors. I am interested in structure, balance and the relationship between colour and light. These references guide the rhythm, proportion and placement of each design.
I work closely with private clients and interior designers to understand the context of the space. Existing schemes, fabrics, architectural details and lamp bases are carefully considered so that the finished shade feels integrated and intentional rather than decorative for its own sake.
