Shipping & Returns
Shipping & delivery
Ordered products will be shipped by Alvaro Picardo’s suppliers within 48 hours after production save for weekends and public holidays. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number when the order has been dispatched.

For orders outside of the United Kingdom local customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. Alvaro Picardo is not responsible for payment of this duty. The shipping company will contact you once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. Be aware that this may delay your delivery time as goods are held at customs. It will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods.

Please contact me if you have any questions about international shipping rates at alvaro@alvaropicardo.com

I shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the property. Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
Risk of loss or damage
Alvaro Picardo carries the risk of loss or damage to the ordered products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid me in full. If you return the products to me for any reason, they will become my property and be at my risk from the time I receive them.

Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and I hold the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet my policy requirements.
Return policy
All products are made to order and are therefore non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not as described.
If your item arrives damaged in transit or you believe it is faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs, where possible, so the matter can be resolved promptly.
Each lampshade is painted entirely by hand. Subtle variations in line, pattern and colour are a natural part of the process and contribute to the character of the piece. These variations should not be considered defects. Traces of the artist’s hand and process may be visible, making every item unique.
