Sleeper Cells
Art dealer William Thuillier specialises in ‘sleepers’, typically old-master paintings whose attribution is uncertain. Many of them are on display in the grand Regency flat-cum gallery
in Pimlico he shares with lampshade maker Alvaro Picardo.
A lateral conversion has given the couple room to create a studio, while their bathroom’s transformation into a Gothic shell grotto will knock everyone sideways.
